Sobrarbe Geopark
A Geopark is a territory with a unique geological heritage that has a strategy for its sustainable development. Geoparks are a voluntary free cooperation association sponsored by UNESCO. Since September 2006, Sobrarbe has been part of this association. The Sobrarbe region is characterized by a great diversity of terrain and geological structures.
Towns and Monuments
The Architectural Heritage of the Environment of the Ordesa National Park is very extensive, ranging from Megalithic buildings, such as the Dolmen de Tella, to beautiful Medieval Villas, such as Oto, Ainsa, Abizanda ... The Romanesque was also very widespread in the area , being able to find Jewels from the Lombard Period such as Muro de Roda, Toledo de la Nata, Santa María de Ainsa or The Route of the 4 Hermitages of Tella.
And, of course, the Popular Architecture that disseminates from Caserones de Piedra the abundant small towns of the Region, some of them abandoned by the construction of Pantanos, such as Jánovas, Lavelilla and Lacort.

In the Sobrarbe region you can witness various traditions and festivals throughout the year:
